Yet another Doctor to jump my backwards queue by having the good fortune of being commissioned before I could get around to making him.

As a series/collection, the Doctors continue to be my favorite. Their designs always turn out just as I'd designed, and hardly ever give me trouble when I'm making their pieces. (I'm looking at you 4th Doctor Scarf...) The third Doctor does have a few design features that are new. First, is he has a purple lining on his opera cape, which you can see some of on the left there. He's also the first doll to have a ruffled shirt. Sorry it's not easily visible since my flash washed it out, but I literally was packing this guy to ship when I realized I didn't have a picture, lol. You can still see some of the ruffle effect near the bow tie though. And while you wouldn't think it on first glance, his sonic was the most difficult one to sculpt. Mostly due to the circle on the top, but it was difficult to get all of the proportions for each part to work out as well. turned out lovely in the end as always though. :D

You may be the first person ever to let me know that they not only received their piece, but just how much they liked it. :D So excited that you did. I hope you'll check back with me in the coming months as I plan on making all 11 Doctors by May for the art show of the sci-fi/fantasy con I attend, just to see how the others turn out. :)
